Other animals of the forest were very troubled by the lion and they always used to find ways to save their lives from the lion. One day all the animals of the jungle make a plan and go towards the lion's cave in a group. On reaching the cave, they all appeal to the king lion. When the lion comes out of the cave, he is shocked to see everyone there and asks why have you all come here? They gathered courage and told their problem and suggested a solution that they would send an animal to him every day for food so that he would not have to work hard for hunting. The lion liked their suggestion and he agreed.
According to the plan, now every day one animal started going to the lion's cave, which the lion used to eat with great relish after killing it. One day all the animals sent a rabbit from among them. The rabbit was very scared and was thinking of a way to escape from the lion. Meanwhile, the lion was getting very angry as it was getting late. The rabbit found a way to save his life and when he went near the cave, the lion looked at him angrily and said, "You took so long to come and you are the only one who has come!
